Pengadaan Vaksin itu Bisnis Besar Taipan – Pemerintah Indonesia tengah melakukan tahap finalisasi pembelian tiga vaksin corona dari beberapa perusahaan vaksin di China.
Ketiga vaksin China tersebut di antaranya Sinovac, Sinopharm dan CanSino, dikatakan Direktur Jenderal Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Penyakit Kementerian Kesehatan (Kemenkes) Achmad Yurianto telah menyelesaikan uji klinis fase 3 di sejumlah negara.
Tim finalisasi pembelian vaksin tersebut terdiri dari Kementerian Kesehatan, Kementerian BUMN, Kementerian Maritim dan Investasi, Kementerian Agama, Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) dan BPOM dikutip forbes.com.
“Bahkan, vaksin ini sudah digunakan di negara asalnya,” kata Yuri dalam jumpa pers daring yang ditayangkan Kompas TV, Senin (19/10/2020).
“Tujuannya, kita mencari vaksin yang bisa digunakan secara aman untuk penduduk kita. Aman dalam dua perspektif, dari sisi manfaat terhadap pencegahan untuk menjadi sakit karena Covid dan aman dari sisi kehalalan,” jelas Yuri.
Dari ketiga vaksin corona China yang melakukan uji klinis yang dilakukan di luar negara asalnya, salah satunya Sinovac dilakukan di Indonesia.
Vaksin Sinovac, kata Yuri, telah menyelesaikan uji klinis fase 3, selain di China juga di Brasil.
“Sedangkan di Indonesia, baru akan selesai pada Desember ini, yang dilaksanakan di Bandung oleh Bio Farma dan Unpad (Universitas Padjajaran),” ungkap Yuri.
Sementara itu, akademisi yang juga mantan Eselon 1 Kemenko Maritim dan Eselon 1 Kemenko Ekuin, Ronnie Higuchi Rusli punya pandangan lain terkait rencana pembelian vaksin tersebut.
Melalui akun Twitternya, @Ronnie_Rusli, dosen Universitas Indonesia tersebut menyatakan, pengadaan vaksin merupakan bisnis besar oleh kalangan tertentu.
Ia membuka pandangan tentang sistem impor vaksin yang menurutnya hanya dilakukan oleh importir, bukan pemerintah.
“Catat, vaksin itu bisnis besar para taipan yang gelontorin duitnya untuk impor, bukan uang dari Anggaran Kemenkes untuk Impor Vaksin. Karena Kemenkes bukan importir obat/vaksin. Jadi para importir itulah yang pakai tangan pemerintah untuk wajib vaksinasi. Kalau mau, liat Singapore dan Brunei,” tulis Ronnie dikutip Wartakotalive.com, Rabu (21/10/2020).
